Delete your Facebook and Instagram data from Vendorbound

If you connected a Facebook Page or an Instagram professional account to Vendorbound, there are three ways to delete what Vendorbound keeps from it. The privacy policy lists what Vendorbound keeps. Last updated October 8, 2026.

Disconnect in Vendorbound

  1. Sign in at app.vendorbound.com.
  2. Open Settings, then Integrations.
  3. Disconnect Facebook or Instagram.

Vendorbound deletes your connection and its tokens, and your scheduled posts stop. For a Facebook connection, Vendorbound also withdraws the permissions you gave it on Facebook.

Remove Vendorbound in Facebook or Instagram

  • On Facebook, remove Vendorbound in your “Business Integrations” settings.
  • On Instagram, remove Vendorbound in your “Apps and websites” settings.

Meta tells Vendorbound, and Vendorbound deletes your connection and its tokens. Your scheduled posts stop.

You can also send Vendorbound a data deletion request through Facebook or Instagram. Vendorbound deletes your connection and its tokens, and you get a confirmation code with a link to app.vendorbound.com/api/integrations/meta/deletion-status. That page shows whether the deletion is complete.

Write to us

To delete everything else, including your posts, their history, and your Vendorbound account, write to gus@vendorbound.com.

What gets deleted

  • Your connection. Each way above deletes your Meta user ID and name, the permissions you granted, your access token, and your Pages’ access tokens. Scheduled posts stop.
  • A post you delete. Deleting a post in Vendorbound deletes it, its photos, and its history.
  • Unsaved photos. Photos you upload but never save into a post are deleted after a day.

What stays

  • On Facebook and Instagram. Posts Vendorbound already published stay on your Page or Instagram account. To remove one, delete it on Facebook or Instagram.
  • In Vendorbound. Your posts and their history stay in your Vendorbound account. After you disconnect or remove Vendorbound, so do the names and pictures of the Pages and accounts they went to. A deletion request through Facebook or Instagram removes those too, and your posts show “Removed Page” or “Removed Instagram account” instead. Delete a post in Vendorbound, or write to us to delete the rest.
