Mississippi Street Fair
Every summer, the annual Mississippi Street Fair closes North Mississippi Avenue in Portland to traffic for a day of street-fair fun. Admission is free, and the avenue hosts live music on several stages, 150-plus local vendors selling handmade goods, art and food, a barbecue competition, and a Kids Zone.
