Celebration of Lights

Albany's 36th Annual Celebration of Lights is a downtown Christmas parade and Christmas Village held on Saturday, December 5, 2026. Vendors line the Christmas Village on N. Jackson Street from Pine Avenue to Broad Avenue from 4 to 8 p.m., followed by a pre-show, the tree lighting at Government Center Plaza, and the parade stepping off at 6 p.m.
