Core Sound Decoy Festival
The Core Sound Decoy Festival is an annual celebration of the Core Sound area's waterfowl-carving heritage, held at Harkers Island Elementary School in Harkers Island, North Carolina. The 38th edition runs December 5-6, 2026, with antique decoy exhibits, retriever demonstrations, decoy and carving competitions, whittling, food, and vendor shopping.
