Day in the Country
Day in the Country is an annual community festival hosted by The Chapel of the Cross on its grounds at 674 Mannsdale Road in Madison, Mississippi. The 2026 edition runs Saturday, October 3, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and features a Makers' Market of handmade crafts and art, a country store, food, live music, chapel and cemetery tours, children's games and rides, and a silent auction.
