The First Saturday Arts Market is a juried outdoor fine-art market held the first Saturday of each month from September through May, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., at 540 W. 19th Street in Houston's Historic Heights. Dozens of visual artists show painting, sculpture, photography, jewelry and more, with live music and free admission; in case of heavy rain the market moves to the second Saturday.
