Friends for Wishes BBQ Cookoff is a fundraising barbecue competition benefiting Make-A-Wish, held October 23-24, 2026 at the Waller County Fairgrounds in Hempstead, Texas. The IBCA-sanctioned cook-off features chicken, ribs and brisket turn-ins, plus fireworks, live music, a cornhole tournament, auctions and a Kids Que.
