Jackson State University Homecoming Parade 2026
Jackson State University's annual Homecoming parade returns to the streets of Jackson, Mississippi on Saturday, October 17, 2026, part of the weeklong Homecoming 2026 celebration themed "Thee Greatest Show." The parade steps off at 8:00 a.m. and features school bands and cheer groups, dance and community sports teams, Greek organizations, floats, car and bike clubs, and local businesses. Spectators line the approved route; the route, street closures and viewing guidance are announced before the event.
