Kaniwala Kalo O Ka'u — Ka'u Taro Festival (Third Annual Kalo Festival)
Kaniwala Kalo O Ka'u is the third annual Ka'u Taro Festival, a celebration of all things kalo held Saturday, February 27, 2027, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Ka'u Herkes Gym Complex in Pahala. Visitors can expect live music, hula dancers, poi pounding demonstrations, a Kalo Youth Ali'i Court coronation ceremony, carnival games and vendors featuring kalo foods, arts, crafts, jewelry, live plants and baked goods.
