October First Fridays: "Fall" in Love with Downtown brings fall festivities to downtown South Bend on Friday, October 2, 2026, from 5 to 9 p.m. The evening includes an Oktoberfest celebration, pumpkin carving at South Bend Chocolate Cafe, fire-safety activities and a Touch-a-Truck, a fall photo op, vendors, and an architectural walking tour.
