Storytelling Festival and Liar's Competition
The 25th Annual Storytelling Festival and Liar's Competition takes place October 16-17, 2026 at Hagood Mill Historic Site in Pickens, South Carolina. Friday Night Frights night of ghost stories opens the weekend, followed by a Saturday lineup of storytellers, a Liar's Competition for eight tall-tale tellers, plus historic demonstrations, crafts, vendors and food.
