The Great Highwood Pumpkin Festival
The Great Highwood Pumpkin Festival returns for its 17th year on October 2-4, 2026, preceded by a community night and opening carnival on October 1. Spread through downtown Highwood, the free-admission festival features pumpkin carving and pumpkin walls, live music from two stages, children's and pet costume contests, trick-or-treating, a carnival, and food and artisan vendors.
