The City of Festus hosts the West City Trash & Treasure Expo, a one-day yard sale and flea market held on the parking lot at the ball field complex in Larry G. Crites Memorial Park. On Saturday, October 3, 2026, vendors sell crafts, antiques and secondhand goods from 8 AM to 1 PM, and admission for shoppers is free.
