World Famous Gumbo Cook-off (MGSWLA)
The World Famous Gumbo Cook-off is an annual Mardi Gras-weekend competition and public tasting at the Lake Charles Event Center Amphitheater in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Amateur and professional teams cook chicken-and-sausage, seafood and wild game gumbo, with public tasting, live music and kids' activities, and arts and craft booths; the next edition is Saturday, February 6, 2027.
